One sunny day…
Maya took her red kite to the park.
The wind was strong. Her kite flew high in the sky!
Maya laughed as her kite danced above the trees.
WHOOSH!
💨 🌳
Then — disaster!
A big gust of wind blew the kite away.
It got stuck in a tall oak tree.
Maya was very sad.
A friend appears

Maya's friend Sam came over.
"Don't worry," said Sam.
"I have an idea!"

Sam ran home and brought back a long stick.
Together, they gently pushed the kite.
Down it floated, safe and sound!
Maya hugged Sam.
