Roll the dice to begin.

๐Ÿ“– How to play & rules

A quiz twist on Snakes & Ladders โ€” for one player vs the computer, or up to four players together.

๐ŸŽฏ The goal

Be the first player to reach square 100 at the top of the board.

๐ŸŽฒ Taking a turn

  1. When it's your turn, your avatar and name light up. Tap Roll the dice.
  2. A maths question appears โ€” tap the correct answer.
  3. Correct? You move forward by the number the dice rolled.
  4. Wrong? You stay where you are and your turn is skipped.

๐Ÿชœ Ladders & ๐Ÿ snakes

Land on the foot of a ladder to climb up; land on a snake's head to slide down. Green squares are ladders, pink squares are snakes โ€” the small number shows where you'll end up.

โš™๏ธ Set-up options (in the menu)

  • Players: choose 2, 3 or 4 players โ€” or Solo vs computer to play on your own.
  • Human or Computer: set any player to be a computer opponent.
  • Difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard or Challenge โ€” harder settings give tougher questions.
  • Name, avatar & counter: each player types a name and picks a character plus one of 12 board counters.
  • Sound: turn sound on/off in the menu, or mute mid-game with the ๐Ÿ”Š button.

๐Ÿค– Playing against the computer

The computer answers its own question cards and you'll see the answer it chooses. It gets some wrong on purpose โ€” more often on harder levels โ€” so it's always a fair race.

๐Ÿ… Winning & the badge

The first to reach 100 wins. When a person wins, the game is marked complete on your dashboard and you earn the Quiz Climb Champion badge.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง For grown-ups

A great 5โ€“10 minute family or classroom game. Start on Easy and step the difficulty up as answers get quicker. Solo vs the computer is ideal for independent practice.
