The only one that does both
Most schools pay for a management system and a separate pile of content. Learnaroo Hub is one platform.
Arbor, Bromcom, SIMS
Strong on management — attendance, census, data — but you still buy learning content separately.
Twinkl, Sparx, Seneca
Great resources, but no school MIS — no attendance, behaviour, census or trust-level management.
Learnaroo Hub
A curriculum library and a full school MIS on one record per child — for families, teachers, schools and trusts.
How progress and scoring work
Every figure on a Learnaroo dashboard is built from a pupil’s own recorded activity — nothing is estimated, sampled or simulated, and results are never shared between families or classes. Here is exactly how each type of resource is measured.
| Resource type | How it is recorded | What is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Worksheets, past papers, activity books, flashcards | Marked complete when opened, downloaded or printed. | Completion and time — practice materials carry no mark |
| E-learning lessons | Tracked as the percentage worked through, reaching 100% when finished. | Completion %, time, and any end-of-lesson check |
| Quizzes & assessments | Marked on the answers given — questions correct divided by questions asked. | The score, the best mark across retakes, attempts and time |
| Interactive games | Scored on points achieved; the best run is kept. | Best score, attempts and time |
A quiz or assessment counts as a pass at 70% or above (an individual resource may set its own pass mark). Scores are colour-coded the same way everywhere on a dashboard: green at 70% and above, amber from 50% to 69%, and red below 50%. Each headline number — completion, average pass rate, the topic heatmap, weak-topic alerts and recommendations, time on task and badges — is a roll-up of these records, so it always reconciles back to the same source.
All pupil, staff and parent records are encrypted. Results are tied to the owning account, visible only to the child and their parent or teacher, and never shared between families or schools.
