Why Learnaroo Hub

Honest reasons families and schools choose us

There are some great free sites out there. But learning ends up spread across half a dozen of them, often ad-supported, and rarely showing whether anything is actually sticking. Here is what we do differently — plainly put.

One library, EYFS to GCSE

Brilliant free resources exist — but they are scattered across a dozen sites. Learnaroo brings the whole journey into one place, mapped to the UK National Curriculum and the DfE Programmes of Study.

Written by qualified UK teachers

Every resource is written and checked by real educators — accurate, classroom-ready material, not auto-generated filler.

Genuinely safe & ad-free

Built to the ICO Children's Code with no ads, no tracking and no profiling. Under-18s never self-register — a parent or teacher always manages a child's account.

Eight ways to learn

Interactive lessons, quizzes, games, flashcards, printables, past papers, video and audio — so there is a format that fits every child, on screen or on paper.

Progress you can actually see

Real dashboards and one-click assignment for parents and teachers — not just a pile of downloads. Spot gaps early and watch confidence grow.

Fair, flexible, no lock-in

Free to start, transparent pricing, and cancel anytime. No contracts, no setup fees, no surprise charges — ever.

🚀 Getting started

What is Learnaroo Hub?
Learnaroo Hub is a UK curriculum-aligned learning platform for children from Early Years (EYFS) right through to GCSE. It brings lessons, quizzes, games, flashcards, printables, past papers and videos into one safe, ad-free place for parents, teachers and students.
How does Learnaroo Hub work?
Pick a key stage and subject, then learn your way — interactive activities with instant feedback, or print-ready worksheets for the kitchen table. Parents and teachers can assign work and watch progress build on a simple dashboard.
Who is Learnaroo Hub for?
Three audiences: parents and guardians supporting learning at home, teachers and tutors planning and assigning work, and students revising and practising. One account gives each role its own tailored view.
What ages and stages does it cover?
Every stage of the UK curriculum — EYFS (ages 3–5), KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE (ages 14–16), with GCSE content matched to AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.
Is everything mapped to the UK National Curriculum?
Yes. Every resource is mapped to the National Curriculum and the DfE Programmes of Study, so what your child practises lines up with what schools actually teach.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Learnaroo Hub runs in any modern web browser on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops — nothing to download, nothing to update.
How quickly can we get started?
Under a minute. Create a free account, add your child or class, and you are learning straight away — no card needed for the free tier.
Can we use it across different devices?
Yes. Progress syncs across every device, so a child can start a quiz on a tablet and pick it up on a laptop later.

💷 Plans, pricing & billing

Is Learnaroo Hub really free?
Yes — you can create an account and use a selection of curriculum-mapped lessons, quizzes and worksheets for free, with no card required. Premium plans unlock the full library, every format, past papers and printable packs.
What is the difference between Free, Pro and Elite?
Free gives you a taster across every stage; Pro unlocks the full library, past papers and printables with progress tracking; Elite adds the most learner places and priority support. The comparison table above shows exactly what is included.
How much does it cost?
Family plans start free, with Pro and Elite billed monthly or annually. The exact prices are shown on the plan cards above and are always kept up to date.
Is paying annually cheaper?
Yes — paying annually saves roughly 17% versus monthly (about two months free). The saving is shown on each plan card.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no contracts — cancel in a couple of clicks from your account, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. One clear price per plan, shown before you pay. No setup fees and no surprise add-ons.
Do you offer refunds?
Annual plans are refunded pro-rata for the unused portion if you cancel. Monthly plans simply stop at the next renewal.
How many children can I add?
It depends on your plan — Free covers one child and paid Family plans cover more, up to the number shown on each card. Educator and Institute plans cover pupils and whole schools.
How do I pay?
Securely by card through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. The free tier needs no payment details — add a card only if and when you choose to upgrade.

👪 For parents & guardians

How do I set up my child's account?
Sign up as a parent or guardian, then add a child profile from your dashboard in seconds — no email address needed for the child.
Can my child sign up themselves?
No. To keep children safe, under-18s cannot self-register. A parent, guardian or teacher creates and manages their account.
How do I track my child's progress?
Your dashboard shows each child's completed activities, scores and time spent, so you can celebrate strengths and spot gaps early.
Can I manage several children of different ages?
Yes. Add multiple children on one account, each with their own stage, space and progress — from EYFS right up to GCSE.
Can I control what my child sees?
Yes. You choose the stages and subjects each child can access, keeping everything age-appropriate.
Will it actually help my child?
Learnaroo is built on retrieval practice and spaced repetition — proven ways to make learning stick — and it is mapped to exactly what is taught in school, so practice reinforces classroom work.
Isn't this just more screen time?
It is active, purposeful screen time — and a large part of the library is printable, so plenty of learning happens off-screen. We design for quality over quantity.
My child finds learning a chore — will they use it?
Activities are wrapped in games, quizzes, XP, badges and streaks, so practice feels like play. Many parents tell us their child asks for "one more level".
Can guardians, grandparents or carers manage an account?
Yes — any responsible adult looking after a child can set up and manage their learning.
We home-educate — is it suitable?
Absolutely. With full EYFS–GCSE coverage mapped to the National Curriculum, plus printables and progress tracking, many home-educating families use Learnaroo as a core spine.

🍎 For teachers, tutors & schools

How do teachers use Learnaroo Hub?
Plan from curriculum-mapped resources, assign to a class or individual pupils, and track completion and scores — with ready-made teaching guides and printable packs that save prep time.
Can I assign work to a class or to individuals?
Yes. Assign to a whole class or to named pupils in a couple of clicks, and set the order of activities where you want sequencing.
Can I monitor pupil progress?
Yes — see class-wide and per-pupil completion and scores, filter by stage, subject and exam board, and spot who needs support before an assessment.
How do pupils join my class?
Invite them with a one-time class code — no pupil email addresses required.
Is it suitable for a whole school or MAT?
Yes. Our Institute plans support department- and school-scale rollouts with aggregated reporting and email-domain controls.
Do you offer school invoicing or purchase orders?
Yes — Institute Unlimited is custom-priced for your school size and we can invoice you directly. Email teamalpha@learnaroohub.com for a quote.
Will it save me planning time?
That is the whole point — teacher-written resources, ready-made packs and mark schemes mean less time making materials and more time teaching.
Can I use it for intervention or catch-up?
Yes. Assign targeted practice to individuals or small groups and track whether the gap is closing.
Is it matched to exam boards?
GCSE content is tagged by exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC) so you can assign exactly the right material.
Can private tutors use it?
Yes. Educator plans suit tutors perfectly — invite your tutees, assign work, and show parents clear progress.

🎒 For students

Can students log in on their own?
Yes — once a parent or teacher has set up the account, students sign in with their own login to learn, revise and track progress.
How do students stay motivated?
Every quiz earns XP, every day learned grows a streak, and milestones unlock badges — turning revision into a habit.
Can I revise for SATs or GCSE?
Yes. Practise with stage-appropriate quizzes, games and past papers, including SATs-style and GCSE exam-board-matched material.
Are there past papers and mock exams?
Yes — past papers and exam-style practice with mark schemes are included on Pro and Elite plans.
Will it tell me what to revise next?
Self-marking quizzes pinpoint exactly what to revise, and your progress view highlights the topics to focus on.

🛡️ Safety, privacy & trust

Is Learnaroo Hub safe for children?
Safety is the priority. We are built to the ICO's Children's Code, under-18s never self-register, and a parent or teacher always manages a child's account.
Are there any ads?
Never. Learnaroo Hub is completely ad-free — no third-party advertising, no tracking and no profiling of children.
How do you handle our data?
We collect only the minimum needed to run your child's learning, in line with UK GDPR and the ICO Children's Code. You can see what your child has accessed, request a copy, or ask us to delete it.
Can under-13s use Learnaroo?
Yes — but only through a parent or teacher account. The adult sets up the child's profile; under-18s cannot register themselves.
What happens to our data if I cancel?
Your group is paused, not deleted. Reactivate within 90 days and child profiles, assignments and progress are exactly where you left them; after 90 days you can request full erasure.

⭐ Content, quality & choosing us

Who writes the content?
Qualified UK teachers. Every resource is written and checked by educators and mapped to the statutory curriculum, so you can trust that it is accurate.
How is Learnaroo different from free sites like BBC Bitesize or Oak National Academy?
Those are genuinely good — but learning ends up spread across separate sites with limited progress tracking. Learnaroo brings the whole EYFS–GCSE journey into one ad-free place, in eight formats, with real tracking and assignment for parents and teachers — and a free tier so you can start at no cost.
Why pay when some resources are free elsewhere?
You can use Learnaroo's free tier for as long as you like. Paying simply unlocks the full library, every format, past papers and printable packs in one place — and removes the time cost of hunting across multiple sites.
How often is content updated and added?
We add and refresh resources regularly, and update GCSE material in line with the current exam-board specifications.
How do I get help if I am stuck?
Visit our Help & FAQs or contact us — we are a UK team and aim to reply within two working days. Elite plans include priority support.
Can I see it before I commit?
Yes — create a free account in under a minute, with no card, and explore the library yourself before deciding whether to upgrade.
