Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how learnaroohub.com uses them, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as updated by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the UK GDPR.
1.What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include pixels, local storage, and software development kits that store or read information on your device. They help a site function, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. Cookies may be set by us ("first-party") or by a third party ("third-party").
2.How we ask for consent
When you first visit, we show a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the Platform cannot work without them and they do not require consent. Our analytics cookies are provided by Google Analytics (a third party) and are off until you allow them — you can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or set your preference by category, and change it at any time. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 relaxed consent for certain low-risk first-party analytics, but because we use third-party Google Analytics we continue to ask for your consent before any analytics cookie is set.
Because our Platform is used by children, we do not use cookies for behavioural advertising to children and apply a privacy-protective default in line with the ICO Children's Code.
3.Categories of cookies we use
Always on Strictly necessary
Essential for core functions such as signing in, keeping your session secure, remembering your preferences, and protecting payments against fraud. These cannot be switched off through our banner. The Stripe cookies below are set only on pages where you subscribe or pay, and are used by our payment provider for fraud prevention.

Consent required Analytics
Anonymous Google Analytics that helps us see which resources are useful and improve the site. These are third-party cookies and are off unless you allow them via our banner. They are not used to advertise to you or to profile children.

Not used Advertising and profiling
We use no advertising, marketing, or profiling cookies, ever — and never track or profile children. If we ever introduced any non-essential third-party cookie, it would be added here and switched off until you opted in.
4.How to manage cookies
- On our site: use the Cookie Settings link in the footer to change your preferences at any time.
- In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform working.
- Do Not Track / global signals: we honour recognised browser-level privacy signals where we are able to.
5.Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies or the law changes. We will post the updated version with a new effective date.
