Addition & Subtraction Detective is a five-mission Year 4 activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for addition and subtraction. Learners add and subtract numbers with up to four digits using formal column methods with carrying and exchanging, estimate answers by rounding, use the inverse operation to check their working, and solve two-step addition and subtraction word problems, deciding which operations to use.
