Algebra Investigator KS3

Algebra Investigator KS3 is a five-mission Year 7 activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for KS3 algebra. Learners work through collecting like terms and simplifying expressions, substituting numbers into expressions and formulae, expanding single brackets and factorising simple expressions, solving one- and two-step linear equations such as 3x + 4 = 19, forming expressions from words, and generating and describing linear sequences including a simple nth term. Every question is auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. This is a KS3 Year 7 algebra workbook. Encourage your child to write out each step rather than doing it all in their head — substituting the number in first, or undoing one operation at a time when solving. A little regular practice like this builds real algebraic confidence.
