GCSE Physical Education Workbook
GCSE Physical Education Workbook is a five-mission revision activity book covering the board-neutral theory core of GCSE PE, aligned to the DfE subject content and the AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC Eduqas specifications. Students recap applied anatomy and physiology (the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular and respiratory systems, antagonistic pairs, and key facts such as arteries carrying blood away from the heart and gas exchange in the alveoli), analyse movement through lever systems and planes and axes, and apply physical training using the components of fitness, the FITT principles and the methods of training. They then design their own training programme and reflect on sports psychology, socio-cultural influences and diet. Knowledge checks are auto-marked on screen, the planning and reflection tasks are open, and the book includes teacher, parent and student notes with high-contrast and large-text SEND-friendly modes.
