Great Artists Explorer KS2

Great Artists Explorer is a five-studio KS2 art activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Art & Design. Children learn about great artists in history — Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky and Henri Matisse — and what each is known for, then explore how primary colours mix into secondary colours, sort warm and cool colours, and use the terms portrait, landscape and still life. They finish by creating their own picture in the style of a chosen artist and reviewing it like a gallery critic. Knowledge questions are auto-marked on screen; the creative studios are hands-on and printable, with a full answer key.
