Human Geography Explorer KS2
Human Geography Explorer KS2 is a five-mission Key Stage 2 geography activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for human geography. Children sort human features (made by people, such as cities, factories, ports and bridges) from physical features (made by nature), order the types of settlement by size from hamlet to village to town to city, identify capital cities, and describe land use, economic activity, trade and the natural resources (water, minerals, energy and food) that every settlement needs. The book finishes with a real fieldwork survey and a human geography report on the child’s own area. Most questions are auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
