Information Technology Explorer KS2 is a five-mission Computing activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for information technology at Key Stage 2. Children learn to choose appropriate software for a job — a word processor for writing, a spreadsheet for numbers and data, presentation software for slideshows and paint software for pictures — explore the cells, rows and columns of a spreadsheet, search the web with sensible keywords, judge how reliable online information is, and collect and present their own data as a chart while saving work with clear file names and folders. Most questions are auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
