How to check the work
Ask the learner to show or explain one idea, then try a fresh example with suitable support. Note any prompts needed; retelling alone does not show secure understanding.

How to study with KS2 RE — Module 2: Judaism
This parent guide links the page examples with a practical study routine. The current resource is labelled Religious Education, Key Stage 2, Year 3, Year 4, E-Learning Module. Use that context, the learning summary and published prompts to decide what firm work should demonstrate.
Prepare a focused session
Read the title and learning focus together. Ask the learner to spot the ideas, vocabulary or method they may need. Scan each sample and spot command words, values, hints, constraints or new terms. Agree a focused time window, reduce distractions and collect suitable equipment such as paper, pencil, ruler, coloured pens, calculator, headphones or a device. Encourage an independent first attempt so the attempt reveals firm understanding and gaps. A quiet pause often aids remembering better than an immediate answer.
Make thinking published
Invite the learner to restate the task in their own words. They can underline essential information, break a larger problem into individual steps, sketch a show, organise support, rehearse a sentence or describe a planned method. Ask why their method fits and whether another method could work. When progress stops, offer a staged hint: rephrase the goal, point towards a related example, reduce the choice, then show only the next step. Return responsibility directly afterwards. Spoken reasoning reveals confusions and practises accurate subject language.
Check accuracy and understanding
Compare the attempt with published answer guidance after sustained effort. Inspect more than the final attempt: review the method, explanation, units, support, sequence, spelling or presentation where related. Ask the learner to locate the first point where their reasoning changed path. Complete corrections actively in a different colour or separate space, followed by a concise account of the correction. For a correct answer, request reasoning and one independent check. This separates assured ideas from guessing while building accuracy, reflection and careful working habits.
Consolidate and extend
Finish with retrieval from memory. Cover the example and ask for the main idea, process or fact again. Create one small variation by adjusting a value, condition, example, viewpoint or level of support while keeping the learning focus. Invite the learner to write a comparable question and supply checking guidance. Record one success and one clear next step, perhaps revisiting terminology, practising a calculation, adding support or developing clarity. Recheck that target later in the week because spaced review gives clearer information than immediate repetition.
The interactive player, downloadable file and make answer material retain their existing access controls. The guide aids preparation, discussion and review.
Sample questions and answers
Try five questions from this exact activity. Review each authored answer and explanation, then note which ideas need another look. Compare the options and explain why the answer fits. Say the reasoning aloud or write a short justification before opening the interactive player to complete the activity and save progress.
