KS3 Biology: Body Systems — Deep Revision is the extended-practice set for Key Stage 3 biology, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum. Learners work through the digestive system and enzymes including the order of organs, the products of protease and lipase, bile and emulsification, villi and water absorption; the skeleton, muscles and joints including antagonistic pairs, ball-and-socket joints, tendons, ligaments and cartilage; gas exchange and breathing including the trachea and alveoli, the diaphragm, the pressure change on inhaling, alveolar adaptations and breathing-rate calculations; and the circulatory system including arteries, veins, capillaries and valves, the four blood components, haemoglobin and heart-rate calculations. Sections 1–4 hold twenty-eight auto-marked questions; Section 5 is an extended reasoning challenge with a full answer key.
