KS3 Biology: Cells โ Deep Revision
KS3 Biology: Cells — Deep Revision is the extended-practice set for Key Stage 3 cell biology, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum. Learners work through animal and plant cell structure (nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane, cell wall, chloroplast and vacuole), the function of each organelle including respiration, photosynthesis, protein-building ribosomes and the partially permeable membrane, specialised cells such as red blood, sperm, root hair and nerve cells, diffusion down a concentration gradient, unicellular organisms, microscopy with total magnification and rearranging the magnification formula, and the levels of organisation from cells to organ systems. Sections 1–4 hold more than twenty-eight auto-marked questions that build from foundation to greater depth; Section 5 is an extended six-mark explanation with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
