KS3 Chemistry: Particles & States — Support is a gentle, scaffolded activity book for Key Stage 3, the particulate nature of matter, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum and designed to build confidence one idea at a time. Five friendly steps use everyday examples and worked examples to practise naming the three states (solid, liquid and gas), naming melting, freezing and boiling, deciding whether to heat or cool to change state and meeting condensation, picturing where the particles are and which state can be squashed, and working out one easy density using mass divided by volume. Most questions are multiple choice so the focus stays on the idea, and every step is auto-marked on screen with a full answer key, or the whole book can be printed to work through slowly on paper.
