KS3 English: Spoken English โ Deep Revision
KS3 English: Spoken English — Deep Revision is the extended-practice set for Key Stage 3 spoken English, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum. Learners work through identifying rhetorical and persuasive devices (rhetorical question, tricolon, anaphora, direct address, emotive language, statistics and anecdote), choosing formal register and Standard English, reading audience and purpose and selecting the right discourse markers, and the craft of debating, counter-argument, rebuttal, speech structure and active listening. Sections 1–4 hold nearly thirty auto-marked questions that build from foundation to greater depth; Section 5 is an open speech-planning and speaking task with a full checklist. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
