Locational Knowledge KS3
Locational Knowledge KS3 is a five-mission activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for KS3 Geography (Year 7). Students name the world’s seven continents and five oceans, match countries to their capital cities (including France, Germany, Spain and Italy) and learn the four countries and capitals of the UK — England (London), Scotland (Edinburgh), Wales (Cardiff) and Northern Ireland (Belfast). They use latitude and longitude, including the Equator (0° latitude), the Prime/Greenwich Meridian (0° longitude), the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, the poles, hemispheres and time zones (GMT), and locate major world rivers (the Nile and the Amazon) and mountain ranges (the Himalayas, the Alps and the Andes). Missions 1–4 are auto-marked on screen with instant feedback; Mission 5 is an open world-map task. Print the whole book with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
