Painting Techniques KS3 is a five-mission painting activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for KS3 Art & Design. Pupils build the colour wheel from primary and secondary colours, mix tertiary colours, use complementary pairs and warm and cool colours, lighten and darken colours into tints and shades, explore watercolour, acrylic and poster paint, and practise techniques including washes, dry brush, blending and layering before using colour to create mood.
