Physical Geography Explorer KS2
Physical Geography Explorer KS2 is a five-mission geography activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Key Stage 2. Children identify natural physical features (mountain, river, volcano, coast, valley, hill, forest and ocean), trace a river from its source through meanders to its mouth, explain how volcanoes erupt as magma rises and becomes lava, learn that earthquakes are caused by movements in the Earth’s crust, label the four stages of the water cycle (evaporation, condensation, precipitation, collection), and compare the polar, temperate and tropical climate zones, knowing the Equator is hottest. Most questions are auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
