Roman Britain Detective KS2
Roman Britain Detective KS2 is a five-mission history activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for KS2 (ages 8–10): the Roman Empire and its impact on Britain. Children practise chronology with BC and AD, learn that Julius Caesar only attempted to invade in 55 and 54 BC while Emperor Claudius led the successful invasion in AD 43, explore British resistance through Boudica, queen of the Iceni, and investigate Roman roads, towns, forts, baths, the hypocaust and Hadrian’s Wall before tracing the Roman legacy in our language and numbers. Knowledge questions are auto-marked on screen, with reflective source and legacy tasks, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
