Sculpture Explorer KS2
Sculpture Explorer KS2 is a five-mission art activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Art & Design. Children discover that sculpture is 3-D art seen from all sides, explore materials (clay, wire, papier-mâché, card and found objects) and the techniques of modelling, carving, joining and casting, learn about great British sculptors including Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and Antony Gormley (the Angel of the North), then design a maquette and make and evaluate their own sculpture. A handful of quick art-vocabulary questions are auto-marked on screen; the rest of the book is hands-on, creative and printable, with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
