Spoken English Explorer KS3

Spoken English Explorer KS3 is a five-mission Year 7 English activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for spoken English at Key Stage 3. Students choose Standard English forms and compare them with non-standard and dialect speech, switch between formal and informal register to suit their audience, plan and rehearse a short talk, and build discussion and debate skills — making a point, giving reasons or evidence, listening actively, responding and disagreeing politely. Quick knowledge checks are auto-marked on screen; the planning and performance pages are open, with a warm, no pass/fail tone. Every page can also be printed with a full answer key, and the book includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
