Story Talk: Tell Me a Tale (EYFS)

Story Talk: Tell Me a Tale (EYFS) is a warm, five-tale Reception speaking activity book mapped to the DfE Early Years Foundation Stage framework and the Communication and Language ELG — Speaking. A grown-up reads an original mini-tale about Pip the hedgehog aloud, then children talk about the beginning, middle and end, learn story words like once upon a time, then and in the end, retell the tale in a puppet voice, make up their own ending and swap tiny tales at home. Two tales are auto-marked on screen with instant feedback; the rest are open talking, drawing and home tasks a grown-up can share, and the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Gentle and playful with no pass-or-fail tone, and fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
