20th Century Conflicts KS3

20th Century Conflicts KS3 is a five-mission history activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for KS3 (Year 9), covering “challenges for Britain, Europe and the wider world 1901 to the present day”. Students secure the key dates of the First World War (1914–1918), trench warfare on the Western Front and the Armistice at 11am on 11 November 1918; track the Second World War (1939–1945) from the invasion of Poland through the Blitz, D-Day (6 June 1944) and VE Day (8 May 1945); learn the facts of the Holocaust with care and respect; and reflect on Remembrance and the poppy. Knowledge questions are auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Sensitive content is handled factually and age-appropriately, with no graphic detail. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
