Use the parent guidance on page 2. Print on A4 paper at actual size or fit to printable area, then encourage careful colouring and discussion of the learning topic.

Use the guidance and answer key on page 2. Answer or assessment rubric: The keep is the strong central tower; the curtain wall encloses the site; battlements form the notched wall tops; the gatehouse protects the entrance; the drawbridge can cross or close access over the moat; and the moat is the water-filled barrier. Castle designs varied by place and period, so use the visible evidence rather than assuming every castle had all six features.
