GCSE Drama Revision Workbook is a five-mission activity book that builds the core subject terminology every GCSE drama board tests — AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and OCR — mapped to the DfE subject content and the Assessment Objectives for creating drama, performing and evaluating live theatre. Students name and use drama techniques (still image / freeze-frame, thought-tracking, hot-seating, cross-cutting, narration, flashback and marking the moment), control vocal skills (pitch, pace, pause, tone, projection) and physical skills (gesture, posture, gait, facial expression, body language), and learn staging configurations (proscenium arch, thrust, theatre in the round, traverse, end-on) with stage positions such as upstage and downstage. Knowledge checks cover the roles of playwright, director, actor and designers, and the key practitioners — Stanislavski (naturalism, the “magic if”) and Brecht (epic theatre, alienation). Because drama is practical, the final two missions are open design-planning and rehearsal-and-evaluation tasks that develop the justified, terminology-rich writing examiners reward. Vocabulary questions are auto-marked on screen and the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and student notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
