Working Scientifically KS3 is a five-mission Year 7 science activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for KS3 working scientifically. Pupils learn to identify the independent variable they change, the dependent variable they measure and the control variables kept the same to make a fair test; to write a testable hypothesis and a clear, repeatable method; to select the right apparatus and use correct units (cm, g, s, ยฐC, ml); and to record results in a table, plot line or bar graphs, spot anomalous results, draw a valid conclusion from the data and evaluate their method. Every question is auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
