Artists & Designers KS1 is a five-mission art activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Art & Design at Key Stage 1. Children meet four famous artists — Vincent van Gogh (Sunflowers and Starry Night), Wassily Kandinsky (circles and shapes), Yayoi Kusama (dots) and Andy Warhol (bright repeated pictures) — learn the primary colours and warm and cool colours, make art in each artist’s style, and describe the pictures they like. A few gentle art questions are auto-marked on screen; the rest of the book is hands-on, creative and printable, with a full answer key. There is no pass or fail. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
