KS1 Computing: Programming Basics โ Deep Revision
KS1 Computing: Programming Basics — Deep Revision is the extended-practice set for Key Stage 1 programming, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum. Children work through the core vocabulary (algorithm, program, command, bug, debugging), learn to read a simple grid of squares and match UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT commands to the square they lead to, use logical reasoning to predict where a longer program of several commands will make Zip the Robot finish, and find and fix bugs in broken programs by comparing them with the target square. A final mixed challenge combines predicting, counting and debugging. All questions are auto-marked on screen with a full answer key, or the whole book can be printed for a longer paper session. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
