KS1 Computing: Programming Basics โ Quick Burst
KS1 Computing: Programming Basics — Quick Burst is a fast-recall activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 programming. Five short rounds drill fifteen quick-fire skills with Zip the Robot on a 1–10 number track: understanding the FORWARD and BACK commands, following a short program to predict where the robot will stop, spotting a bug (a wrong command) in a broken program and saying what it should be instead, and counting how many commands a journey needs. Every round is auto-marked on screen with a full answer key, or the whole book can be printed for timed paper practice. Ideal as a warm-up or five-minute computing revision blast. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
