KS1 D&T: Design โ Deep Revision
KS1 D&T: Design — Deep Revision is a five-section activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Design & Technology at Key Stage 1, kept deliberately light and age-appropriate for 5–7 year olds and focused purely on the design stage of the design-make-evaluate cycle. Children find out what a design idea, plan and brief are, think about the user, purpose and the difference between a need and a want, choose the right material for a job (waterproof, soft, bendy or see-through), and understand design criteria as a checklist to check a plan against, before drawing, labelling and checking their own simple design. Twelve short design questions are auto-marked on screen with a full answer key; the final section is a hands-on, printable design and check task. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
