KS1 English: Spoken Language — Support is a gentle, scaffolded activity book for Years 1–2 spoken language, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum and designed to build confidence one idea at a time. Five friendly steps use worked examples to practise the basics of good listening, spotting and using a question word, giving a simple reason with the word because, taking turns to talk in a group, and getting ready to talk to a group with a clear, confident voice. Most questions are multiple choice so the focus stays on the idea, and every step is auto-marked on screen with a full answer key, or the whole book can be printed to work through slowly on paper. The tone is warm and encouraging with no pass or fail language. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
