Handwriting & Presentation KS2
Handwriting & Presentation KS2 is a five-mission English activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 handwriting. Children learn the difference between print and joined (cursive) writing, practise the diagonal and horizontal joins that link letters, keep their letters a consistent size with even spacing, learn which letters are often left unjoined, and present a finished piece neatly with a heading, date, margin and tidy corrections. A handful of quick handwriting-vocabulary questions are auto-marked on screen; the rest of the book is hands-on tracing, joining and presentation practice, with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.

For the student โ how to do this
You're going to complete five handwriting missions! Try the quick handwriting-word questions and I'll check them for you, then get practising your diagonal and horizontal joins, keeping your letters an even size, and presenting your work beautifully. Take your time and enjoy your joined-up writing!
For parents and carers
This is a Key Stage 2 handwriting and presentation activity book. Have a comfortable pencil or handwriting pen and lined paper ready. Sit alongside your child, check their posture and grip, and talk about their joins, letter size and how tidy the page looks. Short, regular practice works best.
For teachers and tutors
A five-mission KS2 activity book covering DfE English handwriting: using the diagonal and horizontal strokes needed to join letters, deciding which letters are best left unjoined, increasing the legibility, consistency and quality of handwriting, and presenting work neatly. Missions 1 and 4 include short auto-marked handwriting-vocabulary checks; Missions 2, 3 and 5 are hands-on tracing, joining and presentation tasks. Suitable for guided or independent use.
How to check the work
The handwriting-words questions in Missions 1 and 4 are checked together with the "Check my answers" button. Missions 2, 3 and 5 are open, hands-on tracing, joining and presentation tasks — there is nothing to auto-mark, so look at the actual handwriting and talk about it together.
