KS1 Music: Listening โ Deep Revision
KS1 Music: Listening — Deep Revision is the extended-practice set for Key Stage 1 music listening, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Years 1–2. Children work through telling loud sounds from quiet ones (dynamics), fast sounds from slow ones (tempo), high sounds from low ones (pitch), sorting instruments into the string, wind and percussion families by how their sound is made, and matching dynamics, tempo and pitch together to a calm or excited mood. Sections 1–4 hold more than twenty auto-marked questions; Section 5 is an open home listening report where children listen with concentration to real music and describe what they heard, with full answer-sheet guidance. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
