Position & Direction Detective

Position & Direction Detective is a five-mission KS1 (Year 2) activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for mathematics geometry: position and direction. Learners describe whole, half, quarter and three-quarter turns, turn clockwise and anti-clockwise, use left, right, forwards, backwards and the four compass points, order objects with ordinal numbers from 1st to 10th, and follow simple routes and movement patterns on a grid. Missions 1–4 are auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key.
