Word Rhythm: Tap the Beat!

An interactive rhythm game using the Kodály method. A word appears on screen, and the child taps once per syllable to “perform” its rhythm. The game tells them if they got the count right — and shows them the rhythm using the standard ta / ti-ti / ti-ti-ti syllables alongside. Word difficulty increases across 12 rounds. Tests the central KS1 musicianship skill: hearing the rhythm of a spoken word and translating it into a beat pattern.
