Watch the adventure and say every sound out loud with Roo! Try to copy each letter sound as it pops up. Watch all the way to the end to finish and earn your tick. ✅

This is a 7-minute phonics video covering all 26 letter sounds from A to Z, ideal for Early Years and Key Stage 1. Pop it on and sit alongside your child — pause after each letter so they can copy the pure sound out loud (say “mmm”, not “muh”).

There is no need to finish in one sitting. When your child watches it through to the end it is automatically marked complete on your dashboard, and their time spent watching is saved.

An A–Z phonics video aligned to the EYFS Literacy (Word Reading) early learning goal and the Year 1 phonics approach — pure, unblended Phase 2–3 sounds. Use it on the whiteboard as a lesson starter or a settling activity, then follow with a blending task.

Watching to the end flips the resource to completed in the class dashboard, so you can see at a glance who has viewed it. Pair it with the Three-Letter Words video to move pupils from single sounds into blending.

Afterwards, point to a few letters and ask your child for the sound. If they give the pure sound for most letters (for example a short “a” as in apple), it has landed. Re-watch any that were tricky — little and often works best.
