Evaluate My Design KS1

Evaluate My Design KS1 is a five-mission Year 2 Design & Technology activity book mapped to the Evaluate strand of the DfE National Curriculum. Children learn what it means to evaluate — to look at what they made and decide what is good and what could be better. They explore and evaluate everyday existing products (what it is for, who it is for, what it is made of, and whether they like it), compare a model they made to their original plan or design criteria, and give one star (something that went well) and one wish (something to improve). Short knowledge checks are auto-marked on screen, while the reflective evaluate-your-own-model tasks are open and printable. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
