KS1 Mathematics: Addition and Subtraction — Deep Revision
Thorough KS1 addition and subtraction revision: number bonds, mental maths, real-life measures problems and inverse reasoning. Auto-marked plus open tasks.
KS1 Mathematics: Addition and Subtraction — Deep Revision is a thorough activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Year 2. Sections 1-2 secure fluency with around sixteen auto-marked questions on number bonds, fact families and mental addition and subtraction of 2-digit numbers. Sections 3-5 are open, reflective tasks: solving real-life word problems involving length, weight, capacity and money; investigating why subtraction cannot be done in any order and how addition and subtraction are inverses of each other; and writing and solving original word problems. A full worked answer key, including model answers and marking notes for the open sections, is included alongside teacher, parent and pupil guidance.
