KS1 Science: Animals, Including Humans — Deep Revision
Thorough KS1 science revision: classify animals, sort diets, then observe a real animal and investigate life cycles. Auto-marked plus open tasks.
KS1 Science: Animals, Including Humans — Deep Revision is a thorough activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Years 1 and 2. Sections 1-2 secure knowledge with sixteen auto-marked questions on classifying animals and comparing their structures, sorting diets, matching the senses to body parts, and recalling basic needs for survival. Sections 3-5 are open, reflective tasks: observing and describing a real animal in depth, investigating an animal life cycle and comparing basic needs across ages, and reflecting on exercise, food and hygiene in the learner’s own life. A full worked answer key, including model answers and marking notes for the open sections, is included alongside teacher, parent and pupil guidance.
