KS1 Science: Plants — Quick Burst
Fast, self-marking KS1 science warm-up on plants: naming plants and trees, plant parts, deciduous vs evergreen and growth needs. Ten minutes, print or play.
KS1 Science: Plants — Quick Burst is a fast-paced, fully auto-marked activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Years 1 and 2. Five short rounds race through naming common wild and garden plants, the basic structure of a flowering plant (roots, stem, leaves and flowers), telling deciduous and evergreen trees apart, how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants, and what plants need — water, light and a suitable temperature — to grow and stay healthy. With around twenty quick questions and a full worked answer key, it is ideal as a warm-up, a fluency check, or five minutes of focused practice between longer lessons.
