KS1 English: Spelling — Deep Revision is the extended-practice set for Years 1–2 spelling, mapped to the DfE National Curriculum. Children revise more common exception words and choose the correct sound-alike (homophone) word for the meaning of a sentence. Three real-life sections follow: sitting a real spelling test read aloud by a grown-up and marking it together, writing tricky words correctly into their own sentences, and a home sound hunt that segments everyday objects into their spoken sounds, finished with a short personal review. Sections 1–2 are auto-marked with a full answer key; Sections 3–5 are open, real-life and reflective.
