Handwriting Practice KS1
Handwriting Practice KS1 is a five-page Year 1 activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for English handwriting. Children get comfortable with sitting correctly and the tripod pencil grip, then trace and form lower-case letters by family — curly caterpillars (c a d g o q) and long ladders (i l t u j) — learning which letters are tall ascenders, which have tails (descenders) and which are small. They practise capital letters, the digits 0–9, and leaving finger spaces between words. A handful of quick letter-vocabulary questions are auto-marked on screen; the rest of the book is hands-on tracing and writing, fully printable, with a complete answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.
