KS1 Mathematics: Geometry — Position and Direction — Deep Revision
Thorough KS1 position and direction revision: vocabulary, turns, right angles and clockwise/anti-clockwise reasoning. Auto-marked plus open tasks.
KS1 Mathematics: Geometry — Position and Direction — Deep Revision is a thorough activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for Year 2. Sections 1-2 secure fluency with around sixteen auto-marked questions on position and direction vocabulary, and whole, half, quarter and three-quarter turns, right angles, and clockwise/anti-clockwise rotation. Sections 3-5 are open, reflective tasks: describing a real-life route using clear position and direction language; investigating why two different turns can end up facing the same way; and exploring patterns before creating an original turn puzzle. A full worked answer key, including model answers and marking notes for the open sections, is included alongside teacher, parent and pupil guidance.
