Sentence Builder Workshop is a five-workshop Year 1 English activity book mapped to the DfE National Curriculum for writing composition. Children put jumbled words into the right order, learn where capital letters and full stops belong, join two short ideas together using the word “and”, and spot and fix sentences that are missing their punctuation. Every question is auto-marked on screen, or the whole book can be printed with a full answer key. Includes teacher, parent and pupil notes and is fully SEND-friendly with high-contrast and large-text modes.

This is a Year 1 sentence-composition activity book. Sit alongside your child if you can, and encourage them to say each sentence out loud before writing it down — capital letter at the start, full stop at the end.
