This policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. Complete bracketed placeholders before publishing.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using learnaroohub.com and its Content. It applies to everyone who uses the Platform — parents/carers, students, teachers, and organisations. By using the Platform you agree to follow this AUP. Breaking it may lead to suspension or termination and, in serious cases, legal action or referral to the authorities.

1.General standards

You must use the Platform lawfully, respectfully, and only for its intended educational purpose. You must not use it in any way that harms us, other users, children, or any third party, or that damages the Platform's reputation or operation.

2.Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • upload, post, or transmit material that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
  • impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • harvest or collect data about other users, including children;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other accounts, or connected systems;
  • circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, access controls, or usage limits.

3.Content and intellectual property

All Content is protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to us. Beyond the limited use permitted in our Terms of Service, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, rent, or sub-licence Content;

  • remove or obscure copyright, trade mark, or attribution notices;
  • use Content to create derivative or competing products or to train any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system.

4.Account and access integrity

Subscriptions and Licences are for the registered user or licensed organisation only. You must not:

  • share login credentials with anyone outside your Subscription or Licence;
  • allow more users to access the Platform than your plan or Licence permits;
  • resell, sub-licence, or commercially redistribute access;
  • create multiple accounts to abuse free trials, promotions, or free tiers.

Schools and organisations must keep usage within their licensed number of students, teachers, classes, or sites.

5.Technical misuse and scraping

You must not use any automated means — including bots, crawlers, scrapers, or data-mining tools — to access, copy, or extract Content or data from the Platform, except for search-engine indexing that we expressly permit. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Platform except to the limited extent the law allows.

6.Fraud and payment abuse

To protect paying users and the service, the following are strictly prohibited and treated as serious breaches:

  • providing false information to obtain access, discounts, refunds, or services you are not entitled to;
  • using stolen, unauthorised, or fraudulent payment details;
  • raising chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith for charges that are valid under our Terms;
  • abusing refund, trial, or promotional offers, including repeated sign-ups to obtain repeated free periods;

We monitor for these behaviours and may suspend access, reverse improperly obtained benefits, recover the value of unauthorised use, and report suspected fraud to payment providers and the authorities.

7.Protecting children

The Platform exists to help children learn. Any conduct that puts a child at risk is absolutely prohibited and will be treated with the utmost seriousness, including attempts to contact, groom, exploit, or share inappropriate material with a child, or any unlawful content involving children. We will report such conduct to law enforcement and relevant safeguarding bodies. See our Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy.

8.Reporting misuse

If you become aware of any breach of this AUP, content that concerns you, or a risk to a child, please report it immediately to teamalpha@learnaroohub.com, or for safeguarding concerns to to be confirmed. We take all reports seriously and will act promptly.

9.Our enforcement rights

Where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached, we may take any action we consider appropriate and proportionate, including:

  • issuing a warning;
  • removing or restricting access to Content or features;
  • suspending or permanently terminating accounts, with or without notice depending on severity;
  • withdrawing access without refund where the breach is material;
  • recovering the value of any unauthorised use or losses we suffer;
  • disclosing information to, and cooperating with, law enforcement, regulators, and other authorities;
  • taking legal action to recover sums owed or losses caused.

We will act fairly and proportionately, taking into account the seriousness of the breach. Our decision on what constitutes a breach and the appropriate response is final, without prejudice to your statutory rights and any right to complain.
