Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains when you can cancel and when you are entitled to a refund. Your rights depend on whether you are a consumer or a business, and on what you bought. Nothing here removes the legal rights you have under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1.14-day cooling-off period (consumers)
If you are a consumer buying for personal use, you normally have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start the day after you enter into the contract. This is your statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
2.Important: digital content and immediate access
Please read before you buy. Our subscriptions and downloadable resources are digital content supplied online. If you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once supply begins, then by law your 14-day cancellation right ends as soon as we start providing the digital content. At checkout we ask you to (a) expressly consent to immediate access and (b) acknowledge that you will lose the cooling-off cancellation right. If you do not give that consent, we will not begin supply until the 14-day period ends.
This is a standard and lawful arrangement for digital services. It does not affect your separate right to a refund or remedy if the service is faulty or not as described (see section 5).
3.How to cancel within the cooling-off period
If you are still within a valid cooling-off period (for example because you did not request immediate access), tell us clearly before it ends — by email to teamalpha@learnaroohub.com or using the cancellation form available on request. We will refund the amount you paid within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method you used to pay.
4.Cancelling after the cooling-off period
You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, so you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the remainder of a billing period after the cooling-off period has ended, except where the law requires or this policy states otherwise. See the Subscription & Billing Terms for how to cancel.
5.If something is wrong with the service
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, if that is not possible or successful, an appropriate price reduction or refund. Contact teamalpha@learnaroohub.com and we will put it right. These rights are in addition to anything else in this policy and cannot be excluded.
6.Renewals and ongoing subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We send renewal reminders and provide an easy way to cancel before each renewal, as set out in the Subscription & Billing Terms. If you are charged for a renewal you did not intend and you contact us promptly (within 14 days of the charge) before making significant use of the renewed period, we will consider a goodwill refund at our discretion.
7.One-off purchases
One-off purchases of digital resources are subject to the same digital-content rules in section 2: once you have accessed or downloaded the resource with your consent, the cooling-off cancellation right no longer applies, but your statutory rights if the resource is faulty or not as described remain.
8.Schools and organisations (B2B)
Where you buy as a school, trust, or other organisation, you contract as a business and the consumer 14-day cooling-off right does not apply. Cancellation, refund, and renewal terms for organisation Licences are those agreed in your order or set out in the Terms of Service and Subscription & Billing Terms. Fees already invoiced for a committed Licence term remain payable.
9.When refunds are not given
Other than where the law requires, we do not refund:
- digital content you consented to access immediately and have begun using, where the service is not faulty;
- the unused remainder of a billing period after a standard cancellation;
- accounts terminated for a material breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, including fraud, credential sharing, or abuse;
- charges that are the subject of a chargeback later found to be valid;
- amounts where you have abused refund or promotional offers.
10.How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval. The time for the money to appear depends on your bank or card provider. We do not charge a fee for processing a valid refund.
