Busy Fingers: Fine Motor Fun is a gentle five-play Reception (EYFS) activity book supporting the Fine Motor Skills strand of Physical Development, following the DfE Development Matters guidance. Children practise holding a pencil with a comfortable grip, tracing lines, curves, zig-zags and patterns, tracing and forming letters and numbers, using scissors to snip and cut, and building finger strength through threading, tweezers, pegs and playdough. There is no pass or fail: most of the book is hands-on tracing, cutting and threading play, printed on paper, with just a few tap-and-check questions and a full answer key. Warm, parent-led and playful, with teacher, parent and pupil notes and fully SEND-friendly high-contrast and large-text modes.
